Liberating the Soul

I will take off the clothes of reality

I shall put on the garment of truth

And after diving into the depths of the sea

In the waves I shall seek oblivion;

May I be bathed with the wine of holiness

to gain the ability to dig deep into mystique

and toss away the dust of loneliness

Before I re-emerge to life

And everything then crystal clear before me see.

Two-Faced

Our life is like a coin

one face makes you happy

the other makes you sad

no matter which you pick

there always lies the risk.

Yet one cannot but toss

For it is the law of life

Always to roll,

never to stand still

And we must all keep forth

well-wishingly

for the right face to turn up

And God willingly

For what one truly wishes for

One, in the end,

For better or for worse,

most possibly gets…

TAKEN FOR GRANTED

“Life is but one”;

“life is long enough”

“life is too short”;

“life is… Life!”

Let me tell you

what it feels –

a huge avalanche

devouring all in youth,

wild and untamed,

yet always destined

to end in a small

sad pool

at the changing of seasons
