Art in Quarantine

Update (6/9/22): we are no longer accepting submissions.

Welcome to Art in Quarantine, a virtual gallery where we showcase a wide range of visual and aural art forms created by people under quarantine conditions! Our goal is to give individuals a platform to share their works of art (which could take the form of music, painting, embroidery, sketching, sculpture, etc.) with others during this difficult historic moment. Whether you’re a professional artist or have only recently started flexing your creative muscles, we invite you to share your creations with us! While all of our contributions have been created under quarantine conditions, only some of the pieces address the present moment directly while others offer us a refreshing escape from current circumstances.

In addition to either a YouTube link to your performance piece(s) or photograph(s) of your work, we also encourage you to provide a short (optional) description that details your creative process or inspiration (max 300 words) and a short (optional) bio (max 100 words) for us to feature with your submission.

Art in Quarantine provides a space for artists of all kinds to come together and share what they’ve been working on in these turbulent times. People express themselves in many diverse ways and through many varying forms and that’s why we feature visual, aural, and written forms of expression in our project (for written contributions of varying types, check out our Archive, Words in Quarantine, and Blogs in Quarantine).

We hope you will share your work with the Life in Quarantine community!
